End-to-End, Online Publishing Services

We provide a comprehensive set of prepublishing services to International and domestic publishers in the areas of scholarly and mass market books, academic and reserch journals. We turn challenging publishing tasks into successful publications, whether in print or on screen. Conversion from manuscript, typescript, or any other electronic format to the desired format is one of our core capabilities, including cost effective XML/SGML/HTML conversions. Files are validated using QC tools developed in-house that ensure 100% semantic accuracy. Whether you want a full end-to-end solution from authoring to delivery, to create an entire XML workflow or overcome a specific challenge we can help you.

XML-based workflow using InDesign/3B2

To convert word files of manuscripts to XML, we need to typeset them using an XML-based software which preserves the structure of the original XML file, and finally extracts the XML file from the application files. The input files may contain elements such as figures, tables, equations, lists, abstracts and so on. These elements will be rendered automatically in the software that is used according to page make-up guidelines. Informatics uses typesetting softwares (InDesign, 3B2 etc) to generate PDF and XML files from the electronic copy of manuscripts supplied.

Online Journal Publishing using OJS Platform

We provide End-to-End journal publishing solutions from manuscript or typescript to PDF and XML/SGML/HTML formats. Open Journal Systems (OJS) is a journal management and publishing system that assists with every stage of the refereed publishing process, from submissions through to online publication and indexing. We are expertise in OJS and other open source platform to manage the complete online solutions. Informatics also has server facility where we can host and maintain your journals.

Digital Repository Creation Services

‘E-prints’ or D-Space are electronic copies of academic research papers. They may take the form of ‘pre-prints’ (papers before they have been referred) or ‘post-prints’ (after they have been referred). They may be journal articles, conference papers, book chapters or any other form of research output. An ‘e-print or d-space archive’ is simply an online repository of these materials. It is normally made freely available on the web with the aim of ensuring the widest possible dissemination. We are expertise in EPRINTS, DSpace and other open access platforms and can provide you End-to-End solution. We provide installation, customization, compilation, maintainance and also hosting services.
