J-Gate Family

JCC J-Gate Custom Content JCC customizes access to journals subscribed by an institution’s library. The concept is based on Dr. S R Ranganathan’s Local Documentation List. JCC serves as a customized database of journal article index for the entire journal collection held by the library. The service is generally offered with content moving forward from 2001. Back file building is offered as a separate project. JCC acts as:

	●	A single log-on gateway for library’s subscribed journals, with link to full-text.
	●	A customized Table of Content (TOC) service with a searchable database for library’s journal literature collection.

JCCC J-Gate Custom Content for Consortia JCC extended to a group of libraries is a consortia solution. JCCC is a sharable database of common bibliographic content for articles published in the journals that all the libraries in a consortia subscribe. To enable sharing full-text, JCCC incorporates the union catalog of journals into JCCC database. It acts as a common gateway or a private portal for the consortia members. Several e-Journals Consortia in India, such as – ICMR, INDEST, HELINET, Ministry of Communication & Information Technology (India)… have adopted JCCC
